Surrogacy counselling must be completed prior to getting your legals in order. We recommend getting in touch with Happy Minds to start the surrogacy counselling process as soon as possible. Even if you don’t currently have a surrogacy team formed, Happy Minds work with Intended Parents and Surrogates who are exploring surrogacy in Australia.

Surrogacy counselling in Australia typically consists of 3 x 50 minute sessions with Happy Minds.

The three required counselling sessions are broken down as follows: 1 session with Intended Parent(s), 1 session with the Surrogate (and her partner, if applicable) and then a final group session; conducted two weeks after the initial sessions.

Happy Minds can also offer additional surrogacy counselling services, outside of the legislative framework, to support your teams individual needs.
